How to Use Notifications

ZapInto keeps playing while you're away. The bell is how you find out what it did — and every ring is another player touching your world.

The bell

Top of every page, with an unread count that means it. Tap it for the latest; open the full page for everything, newest first.

Below: the bell, the dropdown, the full listing and a detail page — six stops through real news.

How the bell works
  1. 1It rings live — the entry lands the moment the board changes, no refresh needed.
  2. 2The badge counts unread, and it doesn't exaggerate.
  3. 3Every entry opens a detail page: what happened, what it means, and a "what you can do now" list with buttons.
  4. 4The full page filters by type and by read state, with bulk mark read / unread when you're catching up.
  5. 5Nothing lives forever: read entries retire after 30 days, everything after 90. The bell is a feed, not an archive.

What arrives

The hits: a duel took your hex, a castle moved you, a wall ground down another point. The wins: your defense held, fresh ground earned, a badge landed.

One honest warning: there is no early-warning bell. You hear outcomes — by the time the bell rings about an attack, the attack is over. The defense you set beforehand is the one that counts.

The thirteen bells
  1. 1Duel Lost / Duel Defended — an Arena hex taken from you, or your Charge holding the line.
  2. 2Castle Lost / Castle Defended — a swap that moved you, or a wall that held.
  3. 3ZapWall Improved / ZapWall Decayed — your Fortify landing, or a neighbor's pressing on yours — the exact hex and the new number, every time.
  4. 4ZapCore Completed, Territory Unlocked, Territory Earned, General Map Earned — the completion ladder paying out, rung by rung.
  5. 5Hex Placed — a ZapClaim planted and live on its map.
  6. 6Record Beaten — someone took a ZapRush record you held.
  7. 7Badge Earned — a tier cleared; a jump over several tiers arrives as one bell, not five.

Acting on one

A notification here is a door, not a memo. It links to where it happened — the hex that flipped, the map that moved, the record that fell.

The fastest route from "something happened" to "I did something about it" is always through the bell.

Every notification is a door
  1. 1Combat news links straight to the hex it happened on — lost ground is one tap from a Duel back.
  2. 2Qualification news walks you into the placing flow directly.
  3. 3The detail page's "what you can do now" list is the game suggesting your next move — reclaim, fortify, place, climb.

No noise

No streak guilt-trips, no "we miss you", no engagement bait. Notifications are game state, period. When ZapInto rings, it's because another player did something to your world — and that's worth knowing every single time.

That's the game talking to you. The next chapter is everything that's yours to tune — your HQ, your profile, your settings.
